Cosplay Compo: Fruits Basket skit - reactions?

Haha, that's pretty typical of Dutch anime convention crowd. The atmosphere is really good and loose.
I love how everyone started cheering for a chair, before the actual skit began (not sure which one).

I loved the skit, It was Fruit basket 100% ^^
And I really really wanted to see an actual kiss too
And Haru who turned black he is my favorite

people dont realise that if you stand on the stage then you hear like 20% of what you would normaly hear if you stand infront of the stage...this could be the reason why you didnt hear the yelling for a kiss scene

to give my opinion on the skit, it had its good and bad moments...ill leave it at that for now

Could you explain this further? Because I would really like to know the things that need to be improved so that if we do an act again we make sure to pay attention to those points

But I heard someone say it would've been better if we had taped the voices up front, because some of us were not talking loud enough.

And we used the stage pretty well. Now, that's good to hear, aint it?

from what I hear, in other countries that's done alot. I do think it has certainly some pro's and con's. but since I never play in the skits, only have to orchestrate them on the day itself, it's hard for me to judge if it will be an improvement for the people doing the skit aswell ;-]

hmm after last year I haven't really see the good points of it yet but I guess that's something I'll need to learn more about as well, guess one of the good points would be that we'd have to practice more no matter what XD

...XD I started cheering for the chair together with my friend.. random moment of silliness, I guess >__>;;

And I loved the Fruits Basket act! ^^ I think it was a very original and fun idea. :3

As what some people already said, the sound... Balcony seat, so maybe I'm the one at fault here

Lessee... Loved the details; the 'angry' mark of Yuki, and that one girl (forgotten name) sitting still the entire time while everyone else was running around... darn funny!

And about taping the sound beforehand... it may have been an idea, but it leaves less room for error and slight improvs... No matter how much you practise (and you shouldn't do that too much, or it becomes too fake), you can never attain perfection...

All in all, I enjoyed it immensely!

All in all, I enjoyed it immensely!

I'm glad to hear that and that reminds me that if we would have recorded it we would have had a big problem since one of our members actually couldn't come in the end so we had a last minute change, so even if we had done it we wouldn't have been able to use it this time. But I will make sure we pay more attention to the sound the next time
