I don't have a lot of requests, but I do have a few suggestions, if I may. Must say that I don't know anything about DJ-ing, but this rather seen from the visitors eyes.

- Leave all songs in the rock/metal genre out. We don't want, as you said it, people to stand on the sidelines and only bang their head or sing along with the song, it's not quite what you do at a disco event.
- Keep it original and fresh: Don't play the same genre all night long, divide your musical genre's into segments and spread those over the whole disco event. I'm quite certain you can think of enough songs to fill up different genre's such as J-pop (Including the danceable anime OP's and ED's), J-core (if that's your thing XD), Eurobeat (Or whatever it's called these days), perhaps a bit of J-RnB (if that's the word for it XD XD)
- If you see that people are losing interest, do something about it! Play a song that people are bound to know or one of the "floor fillers", is what you call them, right? Either way, you don't want people to lose interest and leave the event, that's a bit of a no-no. ^^;

As for requests...well, here we go~! (You probably know a lot of em, but hey, I blame my originality. XD)
- Sol'd Out Crew - To All Tha Dreamers (Yakitate Japan! 2nd Ending)
- Harenchi Punch - Neko-Nyan Dance (Chokotto Sister ending)
- Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu OST - Hare Hare Yukai (Of course XD)
- Lucky Star OST - Motteke! Sailor Fuku! (Double of course XD)
- Songs by KOTOKO, Ayumi Hamasaki and from the Gravitation OST
- Poppin - Happy Cosmos (DearS ending, what? It's cute! XD)
- Koda Kumi - Cutie Honey Theme
- Tegomass - Kimi + Boku = Love? (Lovely Complex OP)
- Mahou Sensei Negima?! OST - 1000% Sparking!
- Mahou Sensei Negima?! OST - Eien no toki wo koete

Hmm~...my list is a bit longer then I thought...oh well, this'll do. Good luck!

I don't see Daft Punk mentioned? 'One more time' is quite dancable. Variety keeps people on the dancefloor, or I'd go looking for sake

Anyway, anything is fine, as long as it is:
1) Coherent (not like the intermediate radioshow)
2) Danceable (unless we do go to the lotus position)
3) Better then the second set last year (sorry to say it, but after the fourth song I lost my interest at all. And with me, half the club).
Yes i mean. I did not fill any linkin park because its emo

Gackt - "Vanilla"
Gravitation - "Shining Collection" and "Super Drive"
Nobuo Uematsu - "Otherworld"
Koda Kumi - "Real Emotion"
Tomoyasu Hotei - "Battle without honour"
The Black Mages - "the skies above"

..and maybe something lighter for people to go odd on like
Toshio Masuda - "Raising the fighting spirit"

also, some Tsubasa Chronicle tracks have a nice upbeat to dance on, but I dont have those here (at work), so will check later..

I've does have a nice sound (usually), but I think most of their songs aren't really "danceable". Unless you dig further into the remixes.

Talking about remixes, a lot of Ayu's song have pretty decent ones.

You should also add some Dj Armin Van Buuren tracks.

I'd love some more Asian pop/RnB stuff ;) With a good beat of course!

- BoA, (Korean one some of her faster songs with a beat 'Love Bug' perhaps)
- Utada Hikaru, 'Devil Inside', there's like 3 remixes of that one too. Most of her single cd's have remixes on them that are quite danceable (even a 'First Love' remix!)
- Koda Kumi

Not in the above genre, but some songs from Asian Kung Fu generation are also pretty dance able

Oh and Yatta could be a floor filler ;)
