Default GR 2K7 Theme game compo, sugestions please

On abunai we have 5 compo's which are confirmed at this point, I won't announce these games yet, you'll just have to see at the con.
(ooh, the tension and surprises!! *cough*)

Anyhoo, since we have 6 spots to have compo's on, we are looking for a theme related game to throw in a compo (keep in mind, the teme is "a weekend to die for"). Many games like 007 games, persona 3 and killer7 have come up, but are or outdated, or not suitable for a compo.

So if you guys can help in this matter, I would like that very much.

Thank you in advance and I'll see you all in the gamesroom

Hmmmz... games that fit the theme..

All I can think of is a custom match in "Timesplitters: Future perfect" which only allows the players to use Tommy Guns and other "mafiossi-themed" weaponry, which takes place on the Sicily map.

I only went through my own game collection though... I'll post again when I find out more info about possible games...

Any specific platform(s), max age (of the game, not of the players), or genre(s)? Looking at the banner at the top of my screen I'd say shooter, something with spies... like Splinter Cell or Syphon Filter? Too bad both of those are futuristic, which is kinda the opposite of the look that girl in the banner has, eh?

Isn't that a full-out-wargame? You know, mass chaos? The complete opposite of the dark, calm theme we're aiming for?

So youre are saying ww2 wast a big crime? Het is een zeer realistisch first person shooter.

Its got a great multiplayer option. And i played call of duty 3 as veteran out.

The Darkness is also good but not as good as call of duty 3

I'm sorry but this game does not fit our theme so I'm afraid this isn't an option.

if you can think of another game that DOES fit the theme, don't hesitate to post it!

Why not because it ist anime related? You can play compo,s with the multiplayer from call of duty 3.

Uh what do you think of a openarena?

the gameroom will be console games only, so no PC games will be available

and it doesn't have to be anime related, it should be theme related. a WW2 wargame doesn't fit the theme of 'film noir/mystery/crime'

Hmm~...it's a shame that I can only think of games that are non-multiplayer oriented...

A Goldeneye (N64) compo would be grand, but as stated above, it's outdated...mmm~...Perfect Dark? Nah, also outdated.
Perhaps something along the lines of Tenchu or Shinobi (both PS2)? Or do you want to keep it more Western-styled?
Mafia or the Godfather (Also PS2) would be nice if it had a multiplayer function...

Ugh, sorry I can't be of any help~!
