Long technical story would be in place but what it comes down to is the screen size. 17" HD screens are the same price as a 17" PC monitor since basically they are exactly the same. But when you get a bigger screen the components and different technologies's come into play. To get the resolution across the entire screen.

Either way Gaming room feedback kthnxbye

Hahaha, I just noticed your signature Niotex. Your judging was, for as far as I've heard, divine indeed xD

Anyway; I liked the setup. I did not play much myself, actually the only thing I played was the projector games because I simply did not have the TIME to play around in the gamesroom, but I liked the games I saw and the beamer set-up on the side of the room opposite to the projectorgames drew a small crowd and quite some laughs, so that must have been good too =)

Thx for the feedback so far, and about the DOA4 compo, I just followed the planning as it had been given to me by the staff of Abunai, but we had enough people to hold a DOA4 compo, I did ask to hold all the compo's on saturday and sunday though but th staff wanted a compo on friday as well...

I woul also like to thank evryone that competed in the tournaments and I hope you all liked the prizes we handed out.

I found too little variety of games, at least there weren't not my type.
Yes, I missed also bemani games.
And most of all, the room was too small for the con of 1000 visitors. I personally didn't dare to go further than a projector game

There was more variation than any other gamesroom we did, we had retro games, race games, RPG's, fighters, etc...

About the bemani games, I did say that we contacted DDRNL for bemani games and they brought that DJ game (forgot the name...)

And we'll try to use the room as effective as possible next year, this year we didn't have alot of time to do that and just started to set everything up.
