12 people is enough to guide through the event. Normally at a LARP event, there are assistant game masters who take care of group quests and things.

But after this, maybe you'll feel like taking part in a weekend event. There are LARPs all over this country.

I just checked the weather forecasts for this weekend and it looks like it's going to be a rainy Abunai.

For sundaymorning, if it's just raining a bit, like a drizzle or something, I reckon there's no problem playing the quest.

However, if it's raining cats and dogs, we'll first wait it off and make the best of a dry period

One small change to the rules because I haven't been able to find my throwing balls yet (seem to have gone into hiding).

Mage: if you're using the spell "Damned art thee!" clearly point your victim. Victim takes 1 HP damage.

Besides, throwing balls have to be picked up again and such.

Hello everyone!

My impression is that everybody had a blast at our little LARP event this morning which is great. I have enjoyed it very much too.

True, it got a bit chaotic but nevertheless the atmosphere was excellent

I thank you very much for your enthusiasm and happyness

For next year, it'll be great if a LARP club will be at Abunai to provide RP entertainment, workshops at their stand and roleplay. I have some ideas which LARP club to invite and such.

Anyway, next year it's about groups and roleplay so this can become quite interesting

There is also a LARP hyve: http://liveactionroleplaying.hyves.nl/

Here you can find links to the hyves a great number of LARP clubs and groups.

Mostly, I play at Cauldron which offers a variety of events and even some where you can play orienthal characters like Japanese, Chinese, Mongols and so on.

why hyves....
put it on facebook!

Anyway, I agree the LARP event was really nice.
Would love to see a LARP stand next year. Also hoping to play a few bigger battles with more people >.<

I'll have a look at what's out there on face book.

Like here where you can read some general info about LARP, but I did not find any links to LARPclubs.

You can also check out the page at Wikipedia http://www.larpwiki.nl/index.php?title=LARP
and link to spelverenegingen but not all clubs are there.

But if you google LARP you'll get results with a lot of websites from LARP clubs.

Before you start playing, it's important to find out what's out there, which kind of setting you prefer and go out and meet the people at fairs like EFF, CF, Midwinter- and Midsummerfair.
